Wychway’s Redd Hot Chili Dawgg
If you were wondering how versatile we are at Cailleach, Chili is proof that we keep more than herding dogs. A Bloodhound is probably as far as you can get from an Aussie in terms of drive, devotion, and everything that makes and Aussie so desirable. However, Chili is the best Bloodhound that Sarah has ever met, and the two have a very special bond. Especially when he sits on her and drools in her hair.

PSCA/UKC Ch. Vignemale de la Brise
Tristan is a Pyrenean Shepherd, an ancient breed which may have been one of the progenitors of the Australian Shepherd. He is an interesting little dog and has made me a better trainer!
He has progressed incredibly from where he was when I got him at 14 months of age. I have hopes that we will someday enter an obedience ring and we owe that possibility in large part to Kayce Cover and her SATS training system.

Kayce Cover at Cailleach again!
Cailleach is again hosting Kayce Cover, who will be in our area for 1 weekend of seminars on August 29&30.
This year she is doing seminars 1&2 of the Perception Modification series. The seminar title is Perception Modification: Teaching your dog to cope with stressors and manage his emotions.
At this seminar, dogs and owners will learn the art of putting true relaxation on cue, and how to maintain that relaxation in the face of challenge, distraction, temptation, stress and time. Together, we’ll cover how to help your dog learn to manage his own emotions, cope with stressors, and make life-saving decisions. These new relaxation and coping skills are then applied, in the seminar, to help dogs cope with situations they find difficult, like grooming, nail clipping, dog arousal, aggression, predatory drives and more.
Kayce will also be available for private lessons during the week.
Contact Susan via email (susan@cailleachaussies.com) for more details and a seminar flyer.
